CAC Metal Recycling is seeking an Information Systems Specialist to support the integration, testing, and improvement of operational business systems used in recycling, inventory management, and reporting.

About the Role
We're modernizing the back-office systems that run our yard — ticketing, weigh-scale integration, inventory, accounting, reporting. You'll bridge our front-line operations with the technology that keeps them running.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Integrate and test operational business systems (recycling, inventory, reporting)
- Troubleshoot system issues for yard and office staff
- Document workflows, integrations, and business rules
- Support data flows between weigh-scales, ticketing, and accounting systems
- Identify and propose process improvements
Qualifications
- Post-secondary in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- Experience with ERP, inventory, or operational software systems
- SQL and basic data analysis skills
- Strong communication skills — able to translate between IT and operations
- Self-starter with a problem-solving mindset
