CAC is currently seeking a full-time Mechanic with at least 5 years experience in the heavy equipment industry to join our team. This individual will perform duties predominantly at our Acheson facility.

About the Role
Our maintenance team keeps an active fleet of heavy industrial equipment running — wheel loaders, excavators, balers, shears, and trucks. We need a hands-on Heavy Duty Mechanic with a problem-solving mindset.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair heavy equipment (loaders, excavators, balers, shears)
- Perform preventive maintenance on schedule
- Welding and fabrication for equipment repair
- Hydraulic, electrical, and engine troubleshooting
- Document maintenance work and parts usage
Qualifications
- Heavy Duty Equipment Technician journeyman certificate (preferred)
- Minimum 5 years experience in the heavy equipment industry
- Strong welding and fabrication skills
- Knowledge of hydraulics, electrical systems, and diesel engines
- Valid driver's licence
